McCall Sanderson is ready to draw on past success to continue to help Benbrook Elementary thrive

McCall Sanderson knows that people are the heart of education, and building relationships drives her leadership style.

Her promotion from assistant principal to principal at Benbrook Elementary School gives her the opportunity to continue to foster meaningful relationships while driving student achievement.

Ms. Sanderson is a product of Monterey High School and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She is the oldest of five siblings and an aunt to two adorable nephews.

Aside from helping students reach their highest potential, Principal Sanderson enjoys exercising and baking.

She went into teaching with the belief that an education is the key to a better future and she wanted to make a difference in the world.

“I'm excited to continue the excellent work that was started in the last three years, prioritizing student achievement, building a strong campus culture, and having some fun along the way,” Principal Sanderson said. “We are a projected A campus, so we will keep doing the great things we have been doing.”
